Key Responsibilities:
1.Apply expertise in protein expression/production, biochemistry/biophysical characterization, protein structure-function elucidation to aid the drug-discovery process at GHDDI.
2.Work closely with Structure Biology Team members for integrated efforts for high quality and high efficiency protein production and protein characterization, structure determination research efforts, to provide key insights protein-functions analysis.
Main requirements:
1.A MS degree in the fields of Biochemistry and Biophysics, Structural Biology, Molecular Biology or any related fields.
2.Have extensive hands-on experiences in molecular biology techniques, recombinant protein production in various expression systems.
3.Proficient in various chromatography protein purification methods and protein characterization techniques. Hands on experiences with CD, DLS, MST and SPR protein analytic methods is a plus.
4.In-depth knowledge on protein biochemistry and biophysics is preferred.
5.Familiarity with structure determination techniques, including x-ray crystallography, cyro-EM or NMR is a plus.
6.Be result-oriented, be able to independently design and execute the plans for protein construct design, expression and characterization.
7.A good team-player, willing to collaborate, actively communicate, eagerly learn new technologies and share knowledge.
