职位描述/研究方向
Key Responsibilities:
1.Apply biology and cellular pharmacology knowledge and skills to design and execute biochemical and in vitro cellular experiments involving the evaluation of small molecule modulators.
2.Develop and validate a variety of cellular assays to understand the target of interest and characterize small molecule inhibitors/activators.
3.Establish robust screening assays to support medicinal chemistry lead optimization programs and contribute to DC (development candidate) identification for ongoing drug discovery projects.
4.Design and manage in vivo pre-clinical pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and toxicity studies.
5.Coach and develop research associate/junior scientist in experimental design, data management and analysis.
6.Proactively investigate new or different technologies, methods, and service providers to ensure our work is being done in a scientifically sound, efficient, and reasonable way.
7.Bring forward innovative ideas, novel translational animal models and advanced technologies to support team goals.
8.Maintain and routinely employ in-depth knowledge of project-related scientific literature
Main requirements:
1.PhD in Biology, physiology, pathology or pharmacology with relevant postdoctoral experience.
2.Extensive experience in creating, developing, and running cellular assays; engineering cell lines to express or knock-down genes of interest, and interrogating cellular signal transduction pathways.
3.Experience with flow cytometry and general molecular biological techniques including q-PCR, ELISA, MSD and Western Blot etc.
4.Strong background in designing in vivo animal studies.
5.Strong knowledge of cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, and senescence
6.Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and interact well with colleagues, vendors, contractors, scientific advisors, and staff at all levels.
7.Committed to staying current with the latest scientific breakthroughs in the targeted oncology field from target identification through human clinical trials.
